PATEK PHILIPPE: New Models 2021

To assure the largest possible calendar display on a single line with optimised legibility, the developers had to overcome technical challenges. In doing so, they created the new self-winding movement 31-260 PS QL with an additional in-line display module, for which three patent applications have been filed.

This technically marvellous new calibre is housed in an elegant platinum case- measuring a diameter of 41.3mm- displaying time across a vertical satin-finished blue dial with a black-gradient rim.

Both watches are worn on shiny alligator leather straps, with a prong buckle. The characteristic shape of the prong buckles for both Ref. 6119 watches was originally designed explicitly for the American market by Henri Stern, the manufacture’s former president.

The introduction of these new references also heralds the arrival of a new manually wound movement, the caliber 30‑255 PS. An exceptionally robust and powerful movement, the caliber 30-255 PS delivers a power reserve of 65 hours.

Sitting comfortably on the wrist, this watch is equipped with a new integrated and entirely polished bracelet featuring five rows of links, combining style and practicality. The light reflected by the polished steel case and bracelet harmonises very elegantly with the night blue dial, with a finish that evokes the beauty of Shantung silk.

The self-winding caliber 324 S QA LU movement is visible through a sapphire crystal case back. This intelligent piece of technology boasts a power reserve of up to 45 hours.

This new Patek Philippe ladies’ Calatrava is powered by the ultra-thin self-winding mechanical movement caliber 240, which boasts a power reserve of 48 hours.

Time is displayed across a guilloched and lacquered midnight blue dial with powdered gold hour markers, which is complimented by a brushed calfskin strap in a matching colour. The dial is framed by a bezel set with 76 round-cut internally flawless Top Wesselton diamonds.
