DMR Reviews: Men’s Street Style
Fashion Month has been an amazing showcase of the latest and greatest trends in women’s fashion. That being said, the boys certainly haven’t shied away from the street style spotlight!

The standout trend that emerged from the streets of New York, London, Milan and Paris, was undoubtedly toned down formal wear. Men arrived to the shows wearing linen suits. However, they made sure they were given a casual twist by pairing them with trainers, open necked shirts and sunglasses. By contrasting patterns, colours, and styles, their looks became effortlessly cool.

Having fallen out of fashion favour- due to its popularity amongst older men on holiday- the linen suit is often perceived as difficult to pull off! However, the fusion of youthful accessories with the traditional fabric gives the look a complete update, and transforms it into a wearable summer outfit. This trend is practical yet cutting edge, and not to mention it allows the wearing to exude confidence whilst maintaining a classy impression.

When thinking of timepieces to pair with a look like this, a strap watch instantly comes to mind. The traditional leather strap alludes to a sophisticated and elegant wearer. However, by choosing a timepiece from a playful, modern brand such as Tudor, Omega or TAG Heuer, the strap watch is given a new lease of life- in perfect synergy with your outfit. This trio of Swiss watch brands are known for staying ahead of the curve in both aesthetics and engineering, meaning they not only look stunning, but will also stand the test of time.
