Proud of our heritage as a manufacturing jeweller, DMR continues to develop the technologies used in its in-house workshops. With a team of highly skilled Master Goldsmiths located within our showrooms around the North West of England, this heritage remains at the heart of all that we do.
2017 saw the completion of the next phase of development in our workshops, with the refurbishment of our workshop in Manchester City Centre. Set in St Ann’s Square, DMR’s Manchester showroom has remained a constant hub of activity since opening in 1979. To this day, it continues to provide the city with some of the finest Swiss timepieces in the world, alongside DMR’s exclusive collections of diamond jewellery…and the showroom’s on-site workshop allows our teams to develop a strong relationship with our loyal friends.
This latest refurbishment sees the relocation of the showroom’s Rolex accredited watchmaker and Master Goldsmith into one designated service hub, bringing together two key elements of DMR’s business. Behind his work station, Manchester’s goldsmith, Keith Taylor expertly crafts bespoke pieces of jewellery for clients, as well as providing regular repair services, using a combination of traditional methods and modern technology.

Along with a refurbishment of the workshop itself, the latest development sees the incorporation of new manufacturing technologies designed to improve the scope and accuracy of the work carried out on site, including the use of laser technologies.
