Entertaining our clients is what we do best at DMR. Relationships that begin over a first watch or jewellery purchase, tend to flourish into friendships that span all kinds of memorable occasions, and DMR’s events are the perfect way to say thank you!
That’s why we were so thrilled to see our friends from IWC Schaffhausen visit one of our home cities earlier this month, during the IWC Big Pilot’s Roadshow in Manchester. As well as hosting some of our IWC clients, we were thrilled to welcome a number of high-profile friends from the world of social media.
Learning more about the manufacture of IWC watches, Freya Farrington was introduced to the story of the brand during the first day of the event. Freya is a popular supporter of fashion and luxury brands in Manchester, so it was lovely to introduce her to the team from IWC.
Alongside her boyfriend Tom, Freya was given an in-depth look at each of the remarkable elements that come together to form those beautiful IWC Pilot’s watches, including learning more about the individual materials and their special characteristics.
Cheshire-based model and social media star Rachel Ward also visited us on the booth during the IWC Big Pilot’s Roadshow, trying some of the watches for herself. The beauty of IWC watches is that their collections work wonderfully across all wrists, regardless of the sex of the wearer.
This was evidenced when Rachel got up close and personal with some of IWC’s Portugieser collection and shared them with her social media followers. The Portugieser collection is inspired by a suite of watches made in the early days of the IWC journey and remain just as popular with clients today. Rachel seemed particularly fond of the IWC Portugieser Automatic 40!
On day two of the IWC Big Pilot’s Roadshow, we were pleased to welcome our friend Caroline Thomas to visit us in Manchester. Caroline is well known in the region for her support of luxury brands and spent some time with the IWC team learning about the origins of the IWC Pilot collection.
Did you know, the first IWC Pilot’s watch was created in 1936 for civil aviation purposes? You can learn more about this fabulous collection like Caroline did, by visiting the IWC website here.
You may have missed the IWC Big Pilot’s Roadshow during the visits to Liverpool and Manchester, but our helpful experts remain on hand to introduce you to the collection. You can shop the full IWC range on DMR’s website today, or book an appointment at DMR’s showrooms in Liverpool, Manchester and Canary Wharf.
