Continuing with the triumphant return of DMR’s famed hospitality, this week saw DMR Altrincham host a selection of our friends to an exclusive viewing of the Patek Philippe collection, in the stunning grounds of Arley Hall, Cheshire.

Built between 1832 and 1845, Arley Hall is a Jacobethan style country house, set amongst 2000 acres of Cheshire countryside. Currently the home of Lord and Lady Ashbrook, Arley Hall was designated a world heritage site in 1959.

The historic nature of this remarkable venue made it the perfect choice for DMR to host our friends, and to celebrate the wonder of Patek Philippe.

Entertained by the team from our Altrincham showroom and DMR’s directors, guests enjoyed a three-course dinner with paired wines, including loin of Cheshire pork finishing with ‘Eton Tidy’.

Prior to sitting down to their locally sourced dinner, guests enjoyed the opportunity to view the Patek Philippe collection in full, relishing the chance to try a number of incredibly rare timepieces not often seen alongside each other.

On show during the evening and amongst the collection, was the iconic Patek Philippe Calatrava family. The supremely elegant Calatrava is recognised as the very essence of the round wristwatch and one of the finest symbols of the Patek Philippe style. A personal favourite of our friends, and a new introduction for 2021, is the Calatrava Ref. 6119R.

Alongside the Calatrava, guests were also introduced to the notable Nautilus and Aquanaut collections, including the beautiful new Aquanaut Luce Ref. 5267/200A-011, another new addition for 2021.
