Celebrating the completion of its new production building in Plan-les-Ouates, Patek Philippe today launches an exclusive Calatrava in stainless steel, with a unique design that will set hearts aflutter amongst watch collectors!

Traditionally accompanying large milestones in the brand’s history with the release of a new timepiece, the new Patek Philippe Calatrava (Ref. 6007A-001) is the latest in a long line of limited-edition commemorative watches celebrating the remarkable achievements of the world’s finest watch manufacturer. This latest addition pays tribute to the commissioning of the new PP6 production building.

At the centre of the watch’s dial, a “carbon”-style texture interacts playfully with light and can be intercepted as an enigmatic footnote referring to the world of high-tech. A calfskin strap with white decorative seams has a delicately embossed structure reminiscent of textile fabrics, which is coordinated in terms of colour and structure to match the dial’s centre.

Instantly standing out with a case and broad bezel in polished steel- a rare material in Patek Philippe’s collections- this striking 40mm timepiece comes in a limited-edition of just 1000 pieces, each with a sapphire crystal caseback specially marked with the iconic Calatrava cross, with the words “New Manufacture 2019” inscribed on the reverse. 2019 is the year when the first team began to move into the new PP6 production building.

The exclusive styling of this new Calatrava stands as a lasting symbol of the latest chapter in the history of Patek Philippe.
