The beauty of precious metals and gemstones is that they can constantly be remodelled, to craft new creations, with the skill of DMR’s Master Goldsmiths.

Make An Enquiry

Providing a new lease of life to pieces that may have been passed through generations of your family, remodelling allows you to design and create a wearable piece of jewellery, using materials from existing pieces within your collection.

Unsetting diamonds and gemstones, then melting down metal from your heirloom jewellery will provide our Goldsmiths with the seeds from which your new collection can be grown.

At DMR, we understand that times and tastes change. With this, your own jewellery tastes may come and go, leaving you with jewellery that you no longer choose to wear. With the help of our workshop team, our Sales Ambassadors will guide you through the journey, introducing you to pieces from our own collections which may provide a source of inspiration.

From here, in consultation with our design team and Master Goldsmiths, a sketch will be created allowing you to visualise the design to be crafted. In some cases, a wax mould will be made to allow you to get a feel for your new piece.

How does the jewellery remodelling process work?

During an initial consultation with one of our helpful experts, we will need to see the piece of jewellery that you would like to transform. Our designers can then discuss the options available. Book an appointment today or contact us for more information.

How long does the jewellery remodelling process take?

There is no set timeframe as jewellery remodelling is very similar to the bespoke journey. We will aim to have pieces such as classic rings ready for collection within 4 weeks, however, some may take up to 12 weeks due to the complexity of the job.

How much does jewellery remodelling cost?

The price of jewellery remodelling will vary depending on the complexity of the design and the time our expert Goldsmiths dedicate to the job. Contact us today or book an in-store appointment for more information.

Can you reuse my gold?

This is largely dependant on the existing piece and what the gold is being used for. The design, size and quality of the existing piece will determine how much gold can be salvaged and how it can be used in the new design. Our helpful experts are on hand should you require any further information.
