Introducing the new Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master
Today has brought about some fairly exciting releases across a range of brands, but we knew we could count on Rolex to bring something note worthy to the table, and bring it they did.
Rolex have released The Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master and we're getting pretty excited about it.
The strap, may have aesthetic similarities to a rubber strap, but the Oysterflex (a Rolex patent) offers the durability, robustness and reliability that can sometimes be lost when a model chooses rubber over metal. The feel and look of the material however, lends a sporty look to the watch and can add some variety to your watch collection.
It’s not just in the production of the strap where you can see that Rolex have focused heavily on reliability and robustness. The choice of the materials and the manufacturing process that has been chosen when developing the case ensures that the watch remains waterproof up to a depth of 100 metres.
The case back has been fitted with the Triplock triple waterproofness system, the middle case has been crafted from a solid block of 18 ct Everose gold and the crystal that has been used is virtually scratch proof.
The waterproof Oyster case provides optimal protection for the high-precision movement. This is a watch that will keep up with you no matter what you’re appetite for adrenaline may be, and it will show it’s age as well as you (dare we say, better).
